A two-night minimum applies to stays that include a Saturday night in July and August. Guests may stay Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday. Other minimum stays may apply during holidays and special events; the requirements for your dates will appear when you book. 

Room rates and availability may change until a reservation is confirmed. Your booking total, including applicable taxes and required charges, will be displayed before you complete your reservation. The payment and cancellation terms for your stay will also be shown at checkout and in your confirmation.

The nightly rate includes two guests unless the room listing states otherwise. In rooms that permit additional guests, the charge is $25 per night for each additional guest age 13 or older. Children 12 and under stay without an extra-person charge when using existing beds. All adults and children count toward the room's maximum occupancy. Please include every guest when booking.  You must be 18 years older to book a stay.

Check-in begins at 3PM and checkout is at 11 AM. Early check-in and late check out are subject to availability and must be approved by the hotel. We are happy to store your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready or wish to spend more time on the island after check-out. 

When available, check-out at 1pm is $50, checkout by 2pm is $100 and is offered only when it will not affect an arriving guest.

A light breakfast, an afternoon treat, Wi-Fi, and luggage storage are included with your stay. Please ne considerate of other guests during quiet hours, 10 PM to 8 AM. 

The 1886 Hotel is a smoke-free and vape-free property. Pets are NOT permitted. Guests are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear and tear. Please let us know promptly if something in your room needs attention. 

If you have a questions about your room, accessibility, arrival, or a special request, please contact us before your stay. 

A deposit equal to one night's room rate, plus applicable taxes and charges, is required when you make your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged to the card on file 14 days before your arrival. 

If you cancel by 3 PM Easter Time at least 14 days before your scheduled check-in date, we will refund your deposit less a $50 cancellation fee per room. 

Cancellations after that deadline are nonrefundable. The full cost of the reserved stay also applies to no-shows, late arrivals, and early departures. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. 

We understand that accidents happen. Please let us know during your stay if anything in your room is broken or damaged so we can take care of it. 

Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear and for hotel property missing from their room. If we discover an issue after checkout, we will document it and contact you with an itemized explanation and the reasonable cost to repair or replace the item.
